They need to have gravitas, not be laughed at with quips.
HMS Endeavour is clever and strong.
HMS Graham… is just wrong.
HMS Victory? Self-fulfilling prophecy!
HMS Colin?
Nothing even rhymes with Colin.
HMS Derek? Don’t make me puke.
HMS Vengeance, Vanguard, Iron Duke!
HMS Barbara? It breaks all the norms.
And don’t get me started on the naming of storms.
HMS Duncan actually exists.
Might as well call it HMS Slit Your Wrists.
With HMS Triumph, off to war you would go.
