But when it comes to the nitty gritty of writing ads, I'm a copywriter.
Which includes excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
For 6 years, with advertising agency Quiet Storm, I was trusted to proofread every pitch document
and piece of work that left the building.
It's also worth mentioning I studied four different ways of writing in my four degree modules at university
- English Language & Communication, Journalism, Philosophy and Creative Writing.
In my Journalism module I received a First in my first year, which is unheard of.

Most of my work is B2C, but I can also work magical words into your B2B communications.
From promotional literature to corporate videos to website landing pages, whatever it takes to engage potential or existing clients.
Below are a few examples from a fun campaign I devised for B2B company, Rocket Software. They wanted to help top decision makers in business relax about the otherwise potentially disruptive modernisation of their companies’ I.T. systems.
I brought this potentially stuffy communication to life with a chilled out ambassador...

I've created copy solutions for every form of advertising medium - film, radio, OOH, digital OOH, social media, mobile, web banners, press/posters, events/experiential, websites and landing pages, brand and strategy documents (from TOV to taglines to manifestos), email, sampling, press releases, Direct Marketing fliers, POS... even a wall mural at Chelsea FC.

Whilst I have written poetry for advertising campaigns, including this one voiced by Suggs of the band Madness,
most of my poetry is just for fun.
The Beardiverse is an irreverant take on life's oddities.

Highlights include:
Rescuing a cat from Bulgaria.
Being made redundant.
A brief brush with fame.
Performing comedy poetry on stage (the poems I wrote and performed are in the book).
Meeting my girlfriend (who I now live with).
And an epic journey to the most remote pub in the British Isles
...for my first beer in a year (see pic above).
It's written, and I’m currently looking for a publisher.
p.s. I'm not small, that's just a very big landlord!
